mercury01 asked: I would love to see you do a fetishistic take on Scarlet Witch's "gypsy" costume that George Perez introduced in the late '90s. Pretty please?
While I somewhat enjoy Perez’ take on Wanda, I’mma have to pass on this for a couple of reasons.
1) I don’t care enough about it to take the time to make it worthwhile. I mean, yes, I enjoyed it when it came out, but it didn’t inspire me or particularly strike as something new or interesting* enough to make it worth the work involved. Especially with all the bangles and belts and other things that would need to be custom modeled, and just the general amount of work to make it viable considering my general apathy for it.
2) If anything, I’d prolly make Wanda’s current costume first, if only because I like the semi-armored look.
3) and lastly, my current take is plenty Fetish-y enough, thank you :-3
Anyway, hope this anwers your question for you, although prolly not in the direction you were hoping for. Sorry T_T
*Ala the 2005-2010 Wasp Costume, which I’ll eventually have to update one day. Cus while I’m only focusing on Mutants at the moment, I keep getting a hankering to use Idelacio’s Genderbent Captain America in an Avengers Fanfiction >.<
Le sigh. Fanfiction is a most vicious and pernicious disease of the mind.
Anonymous asked: Gadot used to be part of the Israeli army, i'm not sure what you mean by " she doesn't look like a warrior".
Serving in the Israeli Army is mandatory, and doesn’t make you an Amazon.
Diana should have been cast as a physically imposing warrior, not a Hollywood model type. I’m looking at photos of her, and Adrienne Palicki looked more intimidating. Hopefully they can bulk her up a bit before putting her to film, personally I would have rather seen someone like Gina Carano, someone with physical heft, and fighting skills, as Wonder Woman (tho sadly, Gina’s acting a mediocre at best).
I’ll be perfectly honest, everytime I see someone say Gina Carano’s name I flashback to the movie she was in, and it just….eh.
I’d rather they cast for ability over looks, and THEN work to add on muscle. As long as they got a decent actress, the rest is just looks. I realize that a lot of people want her to be as visually imposing as Lucy or Gina or even Adrienne, who wasn’t bad visually as WW, but I would prefer someone who can act WELL to someone who just looks the part.
That being said, it’s all moot anyway, as it’s a Zack Snyder movie.
If it’s any good at all I’d horrendously surprised.
brianchristy asked: Since you're back on super heroines I must ask: will there be battle damage variations?
I’ll be honest, I’ve never been all that interested in battle damage. Mostly cus most of the girls I do, such as Powergirl or Rogue, I can’t imagine them being embarrassed enough by battle damage for it to really matter to them.
And so to me, it’s not worth the effort of making believable damage maps for each and every texture set I do.
Which is a pain in the ass.
Anonymous asked: What 3D program do you use for your Special Liaisons series? With this degree of customizability I'm interested in putting together a few characters of my own :)
I use a very old version of Daz/Studio*, as well as the third generation Daz figure Aiko 3. My aiko figure has been modded to a very high degree of customizability by a good friend of mine, who also makes custom outfits in his spare time. So, all in all, a lot of what I do is sadly unique to me and a few others.
Sorry bout that.
